March 31 Is Last Date To Link Aadhaar With PAN Card

Linking Aadhaar card with PAN card is an important step for various official purposes. Now, with the financial year nearly coming to an end, the income tax department has made it mandatory to link Aadhaar card with PAN card before March 31. It has been made compulsory for linking PAN and Aadhaar for those do not fall under the exempt category. The PAN card will become inoperative if the two are not linked before March 31. “As per Income-tax Act, 1961, it is mandatory for all PAN holders, who do not fall under the exempt category, to link their PAN with Aadhaar before 31.3.2023. From 1.04.2023, the unlinked PAN shall become inoperative. Link it before it’s too late. Don’t delay, link it today!,” Income Tax department said on micro blogging site Twitter.
